CAE Singapore was incorporated in 2008 and today provides technical solutions, consulting and professional services, simulator maintenance and technical support services for training and simulation systems. Serving customers within the region, CAE’s team of highly trained engineers provides technical support services for training systems such as the Super Puma and S-70B Seahawk full-mission helicopter simulators operated by the Republic of Singapore Air Force and the CAE 3000 Series AW139 simulator operated by PWN Excellence in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. CAE Singapore also supports the Metro Train Driving Simulator operated by the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) and has also developed a model railway simulator for the SMRT.
In 2012, the CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Centre (MPTC) was established through a joint venture between CAE and the Government of Brunei Darussalam. The facility located in Brunei, near the Brunei International Airport, officially started training in September 2014. The CAE Brunei MPTC currently offers training for the Sikorsky S-92 helicopter, which is used extensively by offshore oil and gas operators, the S-70i Black Hawk helicopter and the Pilatus PC-7 trainer aircraft.
