For decades now, transport and tanker aircraft have been
used by defence forces around the world for combat, humanitarian, disaster
relief, medevac and air drop missions. These aircraft have the capacity to
transport troops, military equipment and other oversized cargo quickly and
efficiently into almost any area. Tanker aircraft, with their air-to-air
refueling capabilities, play a key role supporting combat and other aircraft by
extending and executing strategic missions.
Over the past two decades, CAE has designed and delivered
more training systems than any other company for transport and tanker aircraft,
such as the C-130H/J, C-5,
C295, A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT), A400M and others. In fact, CAE
has delivered more training systems for the venerable C-130 Hercules aircraft
and its many variants than any company.
CAE is currently the prime contractor on the United
States Air Force (USAF) KC-135 Aircrew Training System program, providing turnkey training services to more than 3,500
pilots, co-pilots and boom operators annually. CAE recently delivered
state-of-the-art training systems for Australia’s new KC-30A tanker and CAE is
serving as Lockheed Martin’s partner and major supplier on a range of C-130J
training programs around the world.
CAE has a unique training systems integrator (TSI)
capability and we are committed to providing our transport and tanker customers
with leading-edge training solutions and services to meet their varied and
demanding training needs.
