CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Centre (MPTC)
In 2015, the Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) established a
collaborative partnership with the CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose
Training Centre (CAE Brunei MPTC).
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the two
parties to advance and develop healthcare training capabilities in
Brunei Darussalam. With this MOU, there is a confirmation of a
broad set of business principles for the collaboration between the
CAE Brunei MPTC and JPMC to develop healthcare courses and
training. The two organisations intend to support medical and
healthcare training needs in Brunei Darussalam as well as support
the healthcare training services of The Jerudong Park Medical
Centre, including first aid training.
JPMC is now hosting first aid training at the CAE Brunei MPTC,
using the MPTC's newly furnished facilities and classrooms. This
relationship with the Jerudong Park Medical Centre in Brunei may
lead to further healthcare training solutions being offered at the
world-class CAE Brunei MPTC.
The CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Centre in Brunei
Darussalam was established in 2012 as a joint venture between CAE
and the Government of Brunei. The CAE Brunei MPTC offers classroom
and simulator instructor for the Sikorsky S-92 helicopter, S-70i
Black Hawk helicopter, and Pilatus PC-7 trainer aircraft. For the
public safety and security space, the CAE Brunei MPTC is
establishing an Emergency and Crisis Management Centre of
Excellence that will provide relevant local authorities such as
Brunei's Ministry of Home Affairs and National Disaster Management
Centre (NDMC) with comprehensive training designed to better plan
and prepare for emergencies.
