Aircraft Maintenance Training
CAE offers aircraft maintenance technicians a full spectrum of technical training courses covering regional, commercial and business aircraft types. Part 147 approved, our technical training programs meet and exceed regulatory requirements, including those of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Transport Canada, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Our programs can be deployed on-the-line, at a training centre or remotely, giving you the flexibility to address your training needs when and where it is most effective and efficient for you.
Our training methodologies leverage CAE’s high-fidelity simulation technology and have radically changed the way technicians are trained throughout their training lifecycle. We make training more relevant to operations by making it more line oriented and focused on troubleshooting. Our design philosophy also allows technicians – long after training is completed – to retain access to the training material utilized in the classroom, providing a learning continuum that spans their entire careers.
Along with the flexibility to train when and where you desire, CAE’s simulation-based training can reduce your training and operational costs. Our programs are designed with minimal dependency on aircraft and high-end training devices. As a result, training can become much more cost-effective, and your maintenance operations also benefit from:
- Improved aircraft turn-around times related to faults
- Reduced repeat write-up rates
- Reduced operational costs related to:
- no-fault-founds
- out of service hours
- improved accuracy of estimated time of returns (ETR)
