Originally founded in 1990 as a daughter company of Trans European Airways, the centre has been part of the CAE network since 2001.The centre operates seven simulators in dry- and wet-lease for a long list of clients. CAE Brussels operates under the Type Rating Training Organization (TRTO) of CAE Aviation Training and has been approved under the JAR-FCL (Joint Aviation Regulations-Flight Crew Licensing) by the Dutch Civil Aviation Authority. Under this TRTO approval, CAE Brussels offers training solutions to JAR registered airlines, as well as multiple customers from non-JAR member states.
