
Cabin attendant - Job description
A cabin crewmember may work for commercial, regional or business jets operators. No matter the operator or the type of aircraft you will be flying, safety is your main concern.
A cabin crewmember is responsible for ensuring all safety requirements are applied in the cabin. This includes among others, a check on emergency and safety equipment, a security check before passengers board the aircraft, demonstrating the correct use of emergency and safety equipment to passengers before the flight, ensuring able-bodied passengers are sitting next to an emergency exit and the appliance of correct procedures in case of an in flight emergency.
Service is also a key function. A cabin crewmember assists passengers in locating their seat, answering questions and providing passengers with meal and beverage services, assuring that all passengers experience a safe and comfortable flight.
