What’s a simulator?
CAE is recognized worldwide for its flight simulators intended for pilot training. A flight simulator is a highly precise and realistic replica of a cockpit associated with a high-fidelity visual system that reproduces various flight scenarios. Pilots can therefore practise taking off and landing as well as various emergency situations in complete safety, without ever leaving the ground. We design and build simulators for several different types of aircraft, from the largest (like the Airbus 380 and the C-130J Hercules) to the smallest (business jets) and for helicopters.
Through our global network of 29 civil aviation and military training centres, we proudly train more than 75,000 crew members yearly. Most airline pilots throughout the world are trained on flight simulators manufactured by CAE. We also supply the armed forces of over 50 nations with training products and services.
Do you want to become a pilot? The CAE Global Academy, the world's largest initial pilot training network, offers aspiring pilots the training needed to acquire a professional pilot's licence. Click here for more info about >> CAE Global Academy .

CAE USA co-op programs
CAE believes in supporting education and the local community by hiring co-op students.
We currently recruit co-op students and interns from various universities and technical schools in the United States. CAE works closely with the Career Centers at each institution in order to facilitate the program.
CAE posts co-op positions at all local Universities and encourages students to view their schools’ website for current opportunities. The rate of pay for the co-op positions is based on a student’s level in school. Co-op positions offer students an opportunity to work with senior level employees and students are able to apply what they are learning in the classroom, in the workplace. The duration of a co-op assignment runs parallel with the school semester and students are evaluated at the end of each semester.
If you are interested in our co-op program you may contact your school career centre.
