CAE AcuScene is a cross-platform image generator (IG) for visualizing the virtual battlefield. CAE AcuScene offers high performance visualization for every simulation. It combines industry standards, including OpenGL, DIS/HLA, MIL-STD-2525B, with an innovative graphics engine for use with commercial-off-the-shelf hardware.
This complete real-time visualization tool offers a full-featured stealth monitor as well as air and ground vehicle visualizations that span single or multiple viewing channels, distributed across several workstations.

The sensor attribute editor allows users to simulate infrared, night vision goggles, and other visual modes. Our physics-based sensor model allows users to fine-tune the sensor models to achieve a high degree of realism.
CAE AcuScene features database paging supported by an efficient run-time structure and an innovative real-time paging algorithm for large databases. An extensive load management algorithm controls the terrain level-of-detail (LOD), model LOD, and visibility range in order to automatically maintain desired frame rates.
