Home/Military/Programs/Australia KC-30 MRTT Australia KC-30A MRTT Under subcontract to Airbus Military and the Commonwealth of Australia, CAE is responsible for providing comprehensive training services to support the Royal Australian Air Force's (RAAF) new fleet of KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft. CAE has designed and manufactured a suite of KC-30A MRTT training systems, including a KC-30A MRTT full-flight and mission simulator (FFMS), KC-30A MRTT air refuelling officer (ARO) part-task trainer (PTT), and CAE Simfinity™ integrated procedures trainer (IPT). In addition, once the training devices are delivered to RAAF Amberley in 2011, CAE will provide the Commonwealth of Australia with eight years of training support services for the KC-30A MRTT. CAE staff at RAAF Base Amberley will provide classroom and simulator instruction, courseware development, training device maintenance and support services and facilities management.
