For most militaries, the procurement, development and delivery of training systems happens as part of a military program. CAE is responsible for the design and development of some of the most sophisticated and capable training and mission rehearsal systems in the world. Following are brief descriptions of some recent and current military programs involving CAE.

German NH90 ›

The NH90 helicopter program is the largest ever launched in Europe, with firm orders now totaling over 500 helicopters. The single largest customer for the NH90 helicopter is the German Armed Forces.

US Navy MH-60R/S ›

CAE is the prime contractor responsible for the design and manufacture of MH-60S/R operational flight trainers (OFTs) and weapons tactics trainers (WTTs) for the United States Navy.

ASTARS ›

CAE USA has been the prime contractor for the Army Special Operations Forces Aviation Training and Rehearsal Systems (ASTARS) program.

C-130J MATS ›

As with any military aircraft platform, training plays a key role in preparing the aircrews to not only fly the aircraft, but also become "mission ready" for a combat environment.

Australia A330 MRTT ›

Under subcontract to EADS CASA and the Commonwealth of Australia, CAE is currently developing a turnkey training capability for the Royal Australian Air Force's (RAAF) new A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft.

Italian Navy AW101 ›

Under subcontract to AgustaWestland, CAE is currently developing an AW101 full crew mission simulator for the Marina Militare Italiana (Italian Navy).
