CAE Side-by-Side™ is an operating system-independent, PC-based terrain database analysis, conversion, and verification tool that allows easy exploration, visualization, and conversion of SEDRIS transmittals, CTDB, OpenFLT, VRML, and OTF databases. Several visualization modes are supported including 3D side-by-side link and flicker modes. Multiple databases can be imported into CAE Side-by-Side™ to find discrepancies amongst different formats and versions of a single environment. Key Benefits Convert your databases to a common format The conversion capability of CAE Side-by-Side™ supports various combinations of formats using a robust plug-in architecture called DataPipe. Existing plug-ins include formats such as OneSAF Terrain Format (OTF) and OpenFLT. All databases imported into CAE Side-by-Side™ can be exported into OpenFlight. Compare multiple databases simultaneously CAE Side-by-Side™ allows the user to display multiple databases simultaneously, simplifying the process of finding discrepancies amongst different formats of the same database. This is accomplished by comparing the data being displayed in CAE Side-by-Side™ in one of the link modes.
