CAE SimuFlite proudly sponsors the annual CAE Horizons of Flight Aviation Art Exhibition and Competition, a juried aviation art show that was first held in 1993. It is one of only two non-military aviation art competitions and exhibitions in the United States. The CAE Horizons of Flight was created to support aviation artists and to give the public an opportunity to view their work. Selected works are displayed at CAE SimuFlite's Dallas/Fort Worth training centre. The show is seen each week by hundreds of pilots and maintenance technicians who train at CAE SimuFlite, as well as visitors to the facility. Awards are presented for Best of Show and for the work best depicting a business aviation theme. Awards of merit are also presented.
