Dubai, UAE, November 16, 2009 – Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) announced today the signing of contracts with three customers for customized pilot training at the Dubai centre as well as other training centres in CAE’s global network. The training programs will include simulation-based pilot training for Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, Gulfstream, and Hawker aircraft platforms.
AMAC Aerospace
AMAC Aerospace has signed a three-year contract for pilot training and enrichment courses on six aircraft types, utilizing three training centres in CAE’s global network – Airbus A320 training in Dubai; Gulfstream IV training in Dubai and Dallas; Bombardier Challenger 604 and Dassault Falcon 900 training in Dallas; as well as Falcon 2000EX EASy training in Dallas and Burgess Hill, UK. AMAC (Basel, Switzerland) is a leading provider of private, VIP, and corporate aviation services.
Falcon Aviation Services
Falcon Aviation Services (FAS) has signed a three-year contract to provide pilot training and enrichment courses for its Gulfstream G450 aircraft. FAS is addressing the increasing demand for corporate jet charter, offshore, and onshore oil and gas support, plus other services in the United Arab Emirates market from its Abu Dhabi base. Emirates-CAE Flight Training is the preferred training provider for FAS, including for their fleet of 10 Bell 412 helicopters and three G450s. FAS is a founding board member of the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA).
Kingfisher Airlines
Kingfisher Airlines Limited has signed a 15-month extension to its training agreement with Emirates-CAE Flight Training for Airbus A320 and A330 dry lease pilot training in Dubai and Bangalore. Kingfisher is India’s largest airline, operating 395 flights daily to 67 domestic and 7 international destinations. Kingfisher Airlines is India's only Five Star airline rated by Skytrax. Kingfisher Airlines is a part of the UB Group, one of India’s largest conglomerates with diverse interests and a global presence.

Emirates-CAE Flight Training is located close to Dubai International Airport and is jointly operated by the Emirates Group and CAE. Approved by both the JAA and the FAA, the facility offers training to commercial airlines and business jet operators in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia. The 14-bay centre currently houses 11 full-flight simulators: two Airbus A320/ACJs, an Airbus A330/340, a Boeing 777, two Boeing 737 NG/BBJs, a Gulfstream IV, a Gulfstream V/550, a Hawker 800/800XP, a Hawker 800XPi (Pro Line 21), and a Bell 412 helicopter simulator. ECFT will add a Global Express simulator early in 2010.
