Description

CAE is proud to announce Spirit Wings Pilot Pathway, its new cadet program partnership with Spirit Airlines!

Once accepted into the program, you will be on track to join Spirit as a First Officer on the Airbus A320 fleet, while working as an instructor at CAE until you achieve your Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) minimums.

How it Works

To be considered for this program, you must successfully complete the Airline Pilot Pathway – USA training program at the CAE Phoenix Aviation Academy.

Upon graduation, you will be eligible to apply for a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) position at the CAE Phoenix Aviation Academy in Mesa, Arizona.

Once you have reached 500 hours total time, you will be eligible to apply for a First Officer position at Spirit. If selected by Spirit, you will begin your journey as a Spirit First Officer on the Airbus A320 fleet while completing your 1,500 hours as a CFI at CAE.

Upon reaching ATP minimum flight experience, cadets will need to complete the CAE administered ATP-CTP course, if required.

Cadets who successfully complete the ATP-CTP course and written exam will be placed into the next available new hire class at Spirit upon reaching minimums.
