Description

CAE offers pilots one of the industry’s most advanced and comprehensive type rating training programs. Our programs combine innovative methodologies, knowledgeable instructors and advanced simulation technology for a truly unique learning experience. CAE trains pilots using a practical and operationally integrated learning approach with all training carried out using computer-based training tools, flight training devices and full-flight simulators.

Course Outline

Jet Induction Training (JIT)

  • 14 hrs. of Ground School.
  • 5 sessions of 4 hrs. each on fixed base simulator.

Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC)

  • 16 hrs. of Ground School.
  • 3 sessions of 4 hrs. each on fixed base simulator.

Theoretical Knowledge Training

  • 72 hrs. of instructor lead ground school including FTD sessions (excluding exam & review hours)
  • 18 hrs. of self-study & computer based training.

11 session of Full Flight Simulator (FFS)

  • 9 Training sessions of 4 hrs. each
  • 2 Check sessions (day and night) of 4 hrs. each
Eligibility Requirements
  • Commercial Pilot License (CPL) valid during the tenure of the course
  • Instrument Rating multi-engine (IR)
  • Valid class I medical
  • Fluency in English (Level 4)
  • Total flying hours: 200 hours
  • 100 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
  • 25 hours on multi-engine aircraft (10 hours can be on a simulator)
