Q. What are the requirements for the CAE Ryanair Boeing 737NG Type-Rating Sponsored Cadet Program?
All available information for the Ryanair Type Rating Program is provided on our website. You may also wish to refer to the airline's own website for information. Applicants are not encouraged to contact the airline for additional information regarding the airline's selection criteria, status updates regarding their application, or information regarding the selection process, etc. We are not at liberty to discuss the selection criteria for the Ryanair Type Rating Program. Neither CAE (or the airline) would respond to such enquiries.
Q. How do I apply?
To apply please do so by visiting our website. The careers page on the airline's own website also provides a direct link to the Ryanair application page on our website. You can also follow this link https://cae.force.com/mycaetraining/PPRegister and create a profile. When you have created a profile/registration on our website, you can continue to update your profile on a regular basis to ensure that your application/registration remains active. Remember your login details when you create your online application. You will need your username (i.e the email address you entered on your application) and password to access and update your application in the future.
Important: If you have already applied via our CAE website but have not yet been contacted by CAE or Ryanair, please continue to update your ONE EXISTING profile/account. Do not be tempted to create more than ONE application! Your one original application is the only application accepted.
Q. I have forgotten my login details. How can I access my account?
If you have forgotten your login details, you need to go to the login page on the application page, and select “Forgot Your Password?”. An email will be sent from the system to the email address you provided in your online application. Applicants must follow the link provided in the email and reset their password within 24 hours of receiving that email.
Q. I am unable to login to my application. How can I access my account?
Are you entering your email address and password exactly as you entered/typed them when you created your account/application? A number of applicants report technical issues relating to passwords, however when investigated, we find that the error lies with the user (i.e. old or incorrect email address is being entered). Please check that you are using the correct login details before reporting technical issues.
Q. What should I do if I experience technical issues with my application/account?
If you experience difficulty in creating or updating your online application/account you are advised to send your enquiry directly to: [email protected]. Our technical team will respond to your enquiry as soon as it's possible for them to do so.

Q. How do I update my application?
To apply (or to make any changes to your existing profile/application) please do so by visiting our website. Please follow this link https://cae.force.com/mycaetraining/PPLogin and create a profile. When you have created a profile/registration on our website, you can continue to update your profile on a regular basis to ensure that your application/registration remains active.
Login to your online application/account using the email address and password you entered when creating your online application. Your login details are linked to the email address provided in your online application. If you change your email address, please remember to update this section of your online application before you close that email account.
Q. How do I know that the application has been received?
If you are able to access/update your profile, your application has been received
Q. When will you contact me? How long do I have to wait before I am contacted regarding my application?
Applicants will be contacted WHEN they have been selected to proceed in the selection process – it is not possible to provide a time-frame as to how long this might take.
Regrettably, if you have not been contacted within 24 months of creating your online application, please assume that your application has not been successful.
Q. Why can't I update my Base Preferences?
Applicants are not permitted to change/edit their Base Preferences.
The Airline are aware that some applicants originally selected a Base Preference which is no longer operational within the Ryanair network. The airline has taken steps to ensure that this would not have an adverse effect on that particular application.
Base Preferences cannot be changed/edited once the application is submitted.
Q. I have uploaded all documents on my online application, but I have been contacted by CAE advising me that these are either incorrect, unsuitable or missing. What should I do?
The email you have received specifies exactly what information is incomplete. You must ensure all documents are attached to your application, as detailed in that email and also on the application section of your online application.
You will be required to provide official translations of specific documents, if the documents you have provided are not in English.
Q. Why do you require a Flight School Report?
This is considered an accurate reference of your performance throughout training. Your Flight School Report must be written in English.
It must be signed by your Flight School's HOT (Head of Training). This requirement applies to both Integrated and Modular students.
This report must also contain all ATPL results (providing a list of all subjects, pass mark, any repeats, etc), CPL & MEIR series passes (first time, first series, Partial, etc), and a statement relating to your performance throughout training. If you do not provide this report (or the required documentation), your application will not be considered.
Q. Who can I contact for information regarding my application?
Applicants should not attempt to contact CAE or Ryanair regarding the status of their application.
Due to the volume of applications received for the Ryanair Type-Rating Program, it is not possible for CAE or Ryanair to respond to applicants who enquire into their application status.
Applicants who “canvass” their application in this way may be disqualified from the selection process.

Q. Can I be provided feedback in reference to the status of my application or to discuss the requirements of the airlines?
Unfortunately not. Due to the interest in our programs, it is not possible to provide a time-frame as to when OR if an application would be selected to proceed in the application process.
Neither is it possible to discuss the requirements of the Airlines we work with, or provide feedback regarding the status of individual applications.
Applicants who do not follow the application procedure and/or attempt to “canvass” their application will be disqualified.
Q. Do I send my CV or other documents that could be relevant to the application process?
Please do not send your CV to us unless we have specifically requested this from you. The documents required form part of your online application. You must upload all requested documents in order to complete your online application. We advise you to check that each document has uploaded completely (try to open the saved document) before attempting to upload the next item. Uploading the required documentation onto your online application is mandatory. Your application will not be registered until you have completed this requirement.
Q. Does CAE keep track of the applicant correspondence?
Yes we do. CAE delivers an application and assessment process that fulfils the requirements of our airline partners.
Applicants to the Ryanair Type-Rating program are not encouraged to contact either CAE or the Airline in order to obtain information relating to the status of an application.
Once again, please be aware that those persons who do not follow the application procedure and/or attempt to “canvass” their application will be disqualified.
Q. Is it possible to re-apply?
It is not possible to create an additional application on our website, but you are able to update your one online application. If your application has previously been unsuccessful but you would like to re-apply to the program, you should continue to update your one online application. All changes & updates made to your online application are registered by our systems, and reviewed at an appropriate time. If the airline decides to review your re-application in the future, you would be contacted accordingly at that time - but it is not possible to provide information as to when or if this may happen.
