CAE DEFENSE AND SECURITY PRESENTS
CAE Catalyst – Defense & Security Podcast

Welcome to CAE Catalyst – Defense & Security Podcast.

Catalyst is a word most often associated with change.  In the context of CAE Defense and Security podcasts, the more relevant definition of catalyst is “A person or thing acting as a stimulus in bringing about or hastening a result”.  This is our ambition.

The intent is for experts, both internal to CAE and those outside of CAE with whom we work, to discuss topics relating to CAE D&S’s areas of focus which may be of interest to you and the military community at large.  Under the overarching theme of “readiness”, these podcasts are intended to address how training and technology can advance and support planning and preparation.

EPISODE 4 - INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT IN TRAINING TRANSFORMATION

29 November 2022

Evolving environments and global threats are forcing defense and security organizations around the world to reconsider long-held beliefs about technical skills training.

In our previous CAE Catalyst podcasts, we’ve discussed the growing imperative for defense training organizations to make significant changes to their instructional approaches and tools. Today, we’ll explore some of the benefits strong military and industry partnerships offer in addressing these training challenges. Commercial training service providers bring a powerful arsenal of thought leadership and experience to address current challenges as well as future transformation requirements.
