CAE and Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) announced today at the 7th Middle East Business Aviation Association Show the expansion of their commercial, business, and helicopter aviation training agreement to support growth in the region. The contract also includes the sale of two full-flight simulators (FFS) as well as CAE instructor-led training, including training courseware. Through this collaboration, CAE and ADA will be delivering training to regional operators at ADA's brand new training facility in Abu Dhabi. The sale of the two FFSs was included as part of the undisclosed customers mentioned in CAE's press release dated October 18, 2016.

"We are delighted to further expand our relationship with our training partner CAE," said H.E Nadir Al Hammadi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Aviation. "CAE has been training our pilots and providing state-of-the-art training equipment for more than a decade and we are looking forward to this extended collaboration, for the support of our own and our customers' growing training needs long into the future."

"It is always a privilege to support the growth of our customers and we are honored today to build on our longstanding relationship with ADA," said Nick Leontidis, CAE Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions. "The expansion of this training agreement is a testament to our enduring commitment to provide our customers with the most comprehensive training solutions."

The training suite will be delivered to Abu Dhabi Aviation's new state-of-the-art 8-bay training centre in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, scheduled to begin training activities in the first quarter of 2017. The new CAE 7000XR Series FFSs are equipped with CAE Tropos-6000XR innovative visual systems and will be ready-for-training in the first half of 2018. The delivery of the new training equipment complements the existing CAE-built AW-139 and B-412 FFSs delivered to ADA.
