CAE today announced the appointment of Mike Greenley as Vice President and General Manager of CAE Canada, Military. With this appointment, CAE will now be operating its defence and security business activities within the Canadian market as a regional business unit. Mr. Greenley will be responsible for the general management and operation of CAE Canada, Military, and will be based in CAE's offices in Ottawa.

CAE has employees in 15 locations across Canada and offers a broad defence capability that includes systems integration, intelligence-surveillance-reconnaissance (ISR) solutions, in-service support management, training, and simulation.  CAE has been responsible for the CF-18 mission systems for the life of this aircraft fleet in Canada.  CAE is the prime contractor on Canada's Operational Training Systems Provider (OTSP) program, which includes the development of training devices and delivery of in-service training support for Canada's new CC-130J and CH-147 aircraft, in addition to providing training support services for most of the Royal Canadian Air Force's installed base of flight simulators. CAE also delivers a range of operational ISR solutions to Canada and the global market, including magnetic anomaly detection for anti-submarine warfare, electronic warfare suites for land forces, and augmented visionics solutions for aircraft navigation in degraded visual environments.

Mr. Greenley brings over 25 years of leadership experience within the Canadian defence and security markets. He comes to CAE from General Dynamics Corporation, where he served as Vice President International, C4 Systems as well as Vice President, Strategy and Development for Canada. Mr. Greenley was previously Vice President of Modelling & Simulation for CAE's Military business unit. Prior to that, he was President of CAE Professional Services and founder of Greenley and Associates, which was acquired by CAE in 2004.

Mr. Greenley currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI) and Chairman of the Advisory Board for Defence and Security Export to the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) in Canada.
