For the first time, CAE is forecasting the demand for air traffic controllers, revealing that 71,000 new air traffic controllers will be needed globally by 2034 to support our growing industry.
Over the next decade, the expansion of both commercial and business aviation will significantly increase the demand for air traffic controllers. This need is driven not only by industry growth but also by the necessity to replace retiring personnel. Many air navigation service providers are already reporting a need for hundreds, sometimes thousands, of additional air traffic controllers worldwide. This demand is expected to continue well into the next decade.
