Full-spectrum C-27J Training Capabilities

CAE USA, following the acquisition of the former L3 Link Simulation and Training business, is an experienced provider of pilot, loadmaster and maintenance technician training systems along with Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the C-27J multi-mission transport aircraft. We have the ability to integrate devices and training support into a single-source solution for maximum efficiency and accountability.

Our experience and capabilities for C-27J training includes our contract to provide the Royal Australian Air Force with C-27J training systems as well as the C-27J training support we deliver to the U.S. Coast Guard in three Texas locations (Grand Prairie, Arlington, and Waco).   For the Coast Guard, we support the delivery of eight pilot courses, three loadmaster courses, and four maintenance courses.   

C-27J training courses also include:

• Aircrew instruction with formal course academics and complete syllabus for the C-27J Operational Flight Trainer (OFT), Fuselage Trainer (FuT), and C-27J aircraft flight training, including tactical and live airdrop training
• Maintenance instruction that directs students through an established syllabus of academics, maintenance training devices and practical exercises on the C-27J aircraft, including advanced airframe, avionics and engine operator courses

We also provide Contractor Logistics Support for the C-27J OFT and FuT, courseware development, and aircraft functional and acceptance test flights.
