Tactical Floor Training Environment

CAE’s digitized Tactical Floor supports exercise planning and debriefing, tactical development, and tactics instruction.  Video imagery is projected onto a screen on the floor and tailored to meet the customer’s requirements.  If live or simulated exercise data is available, an entire exercise can be viewed on the Tactical Floor which enables a complete exercise to be planned using scenarios with multiple moving entities.  Replacing or re-positioning entities to change the operational plan or evaluate different tactics is as simple as a click of a mouse. De-briefing can include satellite sites using video conferencing equipment and there can be multi-tiered seating for observers of an exercise or students receiving tactics instruction.
