A new era of immersive, cybersecure, scalable training that helps Australia prepare mission aviators for the complex operations of today and tomorrow.
The Future Air Mission Training System (F-AMTS) is a transformation in training systems, technology, and approaches to train the next generation of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airborne Electronics Analysts, Operations Officers, Air Mobility Officers, Air Traffic Controllers, Air Battle Managers, Maritime Patrol and Response Officers, Weapon Systems Officers, and Electronic Warfare Officers.
This system combines an advanced learning environment, courseware, and synthetic ground and airborne training elements to replicate real-world operational complexity, before students step into the real aircraft.
This contract builds on CAE’s longstanding partnership with the RAAF, which began in 1994 and has since trained generations of Australian military aircrew. This positions CAE as Australia’s trusted sovereign partner in defence training, delivering world-leading training systems, immersive learning environments, and operational expertise in support of the ADF’s operational and national security objectives.
