CAE in New Zealand

CAE established CAE New Zealand Pty Ltd. in 2014 to provide in-country support services to the New Zealand Defence Force and other Government Agencies. Some of the programs led by CAE New Zealand include:

• Provision of training support and maintenance services for the Beechcraft T-6C ground-based training system that has been delivered to support the 11 T-6Cs based at RNZAF Ohakea;
• Through life support and maintenance services at RNZAF Base Auckland in Whenuapai for the SH-2G(I) Full Mission Flight Simulator and SH-2G(I) Part Task Trainer that the NZDF acquired as part of a comprehensive acquisition of ten SH-2G(I) helicopters from Kaman Corporation; CAE is also performing updates to the SH-2G(I) Full Mission Flight Simulator (FMFS) and SH-2G(I) Part Task Trainer (PTT).
• Through life support and maintenance services at RNZAF Base Ohakea for the CAE-built NH90 flight training device.  The delivery, installation and support of the NH90 training system was recognized with an Award of Excellence for the Provision of a Product or Service in 2020 by the New Zealand Ministry of Defence.
