Description

Train with CAE in Phoenix, Arizona, to earn all the licenses and ratings required to launch your airline career. This full-time training program is designed for individuals without any previous flight experience, but can be customized upon request.

The course is up to 56 weeks in duration.

Part 141 approved course:

  • 100 hours FAA Ground School (PPL, IR, CPL)
  • 148 hours Single Engine aircraft trainer
  • 32 hours Multi-Engine aircraft trainer
  • 33.2 hours Flight Simulators

You need to meet the following criteria to apply to the Airline Pilot Pathway:

  • 18 years of age or over to start training
  • Proficient in the English language
  • Capable of holding an FAA medical
  • Previous flying experience is not required

Then you will need to:

  • Sign your Enrollment Agreement 
  • Pay a $750 course deposit (nonrefundable) to secure your seat
  • Get your FAA medical
  • Establish financing
  • Phoenix has more than 350 flying days per year
  • Get familiar with complex Class B, D and E airspace in Phoenix

The CAE Airline Pilot Pathway Program is a comprehensive, full-time training program designed to take you from no flight experience to becoming a professional airline pilot. It includes obtaining all necessary licenses and ratings and is conducted under the Part 141 regulations.

Part 141 is a set of regulations established by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that outlines the requirements for pilot schools and their training programs. Training under Part 141 ensures a standardized and structured approach to flight training, meeting high safety and quality standards. This regulatory framework allows for more efficient training, including reduced flight hour requirements for certain certificates compared to Part 61 programs.

Training is conducted at CAE Phoenix Aviation Academy in Phoenix, Arizona. This location offers ideal flying conditions year-round.

The program includes the following:

  • Private Pilot License (PPL)
  • Instrument Rating (IR)
  • Commercial Pilot License-Multi Engine (CPL-ME)
  • Single Engine add-on to Commercial Pilot License

The following ratings are optional and are available at additional cost:

  • Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating
  • Certified Flight Instrument Instructor (CFII) rating

The Airline Pilot Pathway Program typically takes up to 52 weeks, depending on individual progress.
