Skills Test
Description
CAE’s skills test validates that, while acting as pilot in command (PIC) of the relevant aircraft type, you can proficiently carry out the procedures and manoeuvres that you have been taught during your training course. The skills test is taken with the examiner.

Course Outline
Course duration: 4 hours
- ATPL skills test is a 4 hour check ride during which a crew may be checked.
Eligibility Requirements
- Hold no less than 500 hours of flying experience as a pilot in the aircraft type.
- Is in current flying practice
- EASA medical certificate
- Complies with the experience requirement and the prerequisites for the issue of the applicable type rating in accordance with Part FCL
