CAE Healthcare will host its Human Patient Simulation Network (HPSN) conference, an industry-leading event from February 16 to 18 in Tampa, Florida. 

HPSN World draws thought leaders in healthcare simulation from universities, colleges and medical centers around the world.  The three-day conference will feature more than 70 sessions on integrating simulation technology into healthcare training to improve patient safety.

Media interviews with CAE Healthcare's President and visit of our manufacturing facility (February 15)

As part of the event, media representatives will have the opportunity to interview Dr. Robert Amyot, CAE Healthcare President on February 15. Journalists will also have the rare opportunity to visit CAE Healthcare's Sarasota manufacturing facilities.

Keynote speakers (February 16 to 18)

Dr. Robert Amyot, President of CAE Healthcare, will open the conference on February 16 at 9 a.m. Chris Broom, Managing Director of Flight and Training Administration for American Airlines, will deliver a keynote address about aviation safety and training practices that are now being transferred to healthcare to improve patient safety. Broom manages training for more than 14,000 pilots and instructors.

Live multi-casualty simulation scenario (February 16, 11:15 a.m.)

CAE Healthcare will stage a live, multi-casualty auto collision scenario outside, in front of the Tampa Marriott Waterside. Through Hollywood special effects, including pyrotechnics and highly realistic make up and wardrobe, attendees will experience an emergency situation from the point of injury to the evacuation process. The street will transform into a casualty situation, complete with multiple vehicles, explosions, and patient and surgical simulators with varying injuries.
